Technical Subcommittee

The role of the Technical Committee is to oversee any requests for rulings on any equipment used on IOMs from IOM owners who send these requests through their NCA’s. When the Technical Committee receives these requests it is debated and where any outside expertise is needed, that is sought and that advice used in the deliberation. Once a decision is reached, it is forwarded to IRSA for their confirmation. If approved, it can then be incorporated in the next revision of the class rules.
