Continental Championships 2027
The IOMICA Executive Committee and the Events Subcommittee are pleased to announce the schedule for the **2027 Continental Championships**.
### 2027 European Championships: Helsinki, Finland
After a careful review of several high-quality proposals, **Helsinki, Finland (FIN/HSK)** has been officially selected to host the 2027 IOM European Championship.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the National Class Associations of **Italy** and **France** for their hard work and dedication in submitting their bids. The quality of all proposals was impressive, making the final decision a difficult one for the committee. We truly appreciate their continued commitment to the IOM class.
### Asia, South America, and Oceania
We are also excited to confirm that the **Asian Championships** will be held in **Qingdao, China**, while the **South American Championships** will take place in **Colon, Argentina**. These events are key milestones for the international development of our class.
Regarding the **Oceania Championships** in Australia, the dates and location are currently **To Be Confirmed (TBC)**. We are working closely with the local organizers to finalize the remaining details.
### Call for Bids: North American Championships
At this stage, no official bid has been confirmed for the **2027 North American Championships**. IOMICA remains open to proposals from National Class Associations in the region. Should a bid be submitted, it will be carefully studied and evaluated by the Events Subcommittee.
