The Chairman Resigns
The majority of the Exec has chosen to ignore the processes laid out in the MoU with ISAF-RSD and take a different course of action regarding the technical resolutions that require ratification. The public conversations on this forum should leave people in no doubt as to the issues I’m talking about.
I have stated publically, and privately, that I will not condone action that fails to comply with the IOMICA – RSD agreement in this manner and feel I have no choice but to resign my position as IOMICA Chairman effective immediately.
It is regrettable that my term as Chairman ends on such a sour note, I wish the Exec well in finding a suitable way forward.
Cheers

Andy, I would like to express the appreciation of the NCA for AUS for the work you have undertaken on our behalf and whilst I appreciate that as Chairman you had no option other than to hold to IOMICA's undertaking in respect of the MOU it is sad that a previously strong and active organisation in RSD has been brought to its knees by a Permanent Committee who have little regard for the organisation's constitution.
I hope that IOMICA can rise above this and that a solution can be brokered to resolve the current rules impasse. I don't believe that accepting an offer for ISAF to approve the changes is a solution at this time.
Good wishes for the future.
Ken
