Dear IOM sailors around the world.

I am pleased to formally announce the 2011 IOM World Championship at West Kirby by posting the Notice of Race. Members of the Model Yachting Association and the West Kirby Sailing Club look forward to welcoming you all at the end of May next year. Further details and updates in the coming months will be posted on the event website and there will also no doubt be discussion and questions asked both in this forum and also on the MYA forum.

A reminder to all NCA's that the initial closing date for entries to the IOM Worlds is this Sunday, 27th February. Please ensure your entries are sent to Mark Dennis in accordance with the NOR which is available on the website http://iomworlds2011.wordpress.com

Small prob,i'm trying to program the address for West Kirby into my GPS and it pre selects 1 Macdona Drive,West Kirby,Merseyside CH483,England.This is not quite the same as the address listed on the website.Anyone know if this is it or do we end up in the Herbidies?

Hi Peter,

Try for the intersection of Banks Road and Sandy Road, or S. Parade.

The West Kirby Sailing Club is at the south east corner of the sailing area, near that intersection.
