what format do you want the entries in (as they come from the NCA's)?

I assume they will be due on February 13th?

I just heard that the initial allocation of places is available on Facebook. When did IOMICA change from using the website to communicate with its members to social media?

This might be something to discuss at the AGM inasmuch as it represents a significant change in how lines of communication are defined.

Especially when some of us 'Luddites' refuse to use Facebook.

Bruce, is there a problem with the USA IOMNCA forum - it has given me a null page for the last two days - just a blank screen.

I have found the website for the upcoming WC's:

http://www.iomwc2017.vrc-pierrelatte.com/

Too bad IOMICA has not seen fit to post this on our website!

The WC site has preliminary allocation of places and NOR, with a note that they will be updated after January 2nd to give us an official allocation of places and a final NOR hopefully with entry forms and specifics on bank transfer info.

Does anyone know the status of these updates? I was hoping that the Events Sub-Committee would keep us up to date on their status but not sure they read this board anymore.

Don't worry Bruce, somebody of importance will be along shortly, just keep logging in and smiling.

Whilst you are waiting there is a very good piece about all the gear that the competitors used at the 2016 UK Nationals available on the GBR IOM website that i can recommend.

Loved that powder blue Lauren dress your new presidents wife was wearing yesterday.

It's hardly RC GROUPS this forum.

Maybe we can get Ben Wedge to post a picture of his gillie to get things moving.

It seems I have missed a few posts here...

Bruce, in case you need something you have my email.

Another point, all informations on FB were on IOMICA website shortly before or after.

Indeed you have (since December of 2015 I believe)

Forums are great to let everyone involved share knowledge

The reason I chose to present these issues on the forum rather than via an e-mail is that they are issues that need to be disseminated throughout the entire IOMICA community

E-mails are great for personal communication that does not need to be shared or commented upon

There is a place for both, but not here

Please be more attentive to issues raised on this forum

Thank you
