It was anounced some time back that CRO want to hold this years Euopeans at the end of October.
Since then, nothing more has been heared. We are coming close to May with only 6 months left for participants to organize holiday, travel etc.
Can we expect any more detailed info in the near future or are the Euros 2008 not happening?

http://www.yc-orsan.hr/index.php?option ... 6&Itemid=1
So it seems that it still is on.
Now I just to find the Official 2008 IOM European Championship Entry Form, because I can´t find it anywhere

May someone explain that?
http://www.iomclass.org/2008/07/29/2008 ... of-places/
Does it mean that less than 76 entries were received, so all skippers that did it before July 19th will get a place?
Why isn't there any info on euro website?
Thanks for your help.

Olivier
Am guessing that you are right. I would suspect that all of the guest places were not used.

5 guest places were used - the remaining 5 were put back into the general pool. It seems that some NCA's only submitted entries for Stage 1 (rather than all entries) by the deadline. If you are a NCA with more entries, kindly forward them to the race organizers ASAP so they can complete the allocations. I belive that they are moving the deadline by 2 weeks.

I think that all skippers who were waiting for August 1st allocation of places to book their plane won't be happy with that delay.

I don't know what it is going on with the Euro 2008 organization, but I asked them to confirm me that they received the money and the entry forms of the Spanish team and I haven't got any answer.
In this case no news is a bad news.

I've just received a mail from Davor Duzevic explaining that 59 entries were received for Stage 1, but that almost all NCA (not France!) haven't sent entries for Stage 2 and further...
So they wait August 8th to complete Stage2.

Not much info on the Euro's site. Any timeframe as to when we can at least see a competitors list?

Hi Steve
I think it was just posted as we got a draft email version earlier in the week. I see that you aren't coming this time?

Apology to all participans who had some trouble, with organization of theirr arrival, couse notice of race was late. It was our first race of that range, so we gave our best to organize this event properly and avoid mistakes that coming in hurry.
70 participans from 16 countries arrived on the event. Competitors from Ireland had trouble with air company, so they couldn`get their gear into airplane. I am so sory about it. But, Jeff Kay was with us all the time, and watch the race. Maybe, he can give a best conclusion to the event.

Davor, please don't apologize, all that could be controlled by the organisation team was perfect.
I've never seen such high level personalities opening a radio controlled event...
Thanks for all your efforts, and see you next time.

Hi Davor
I've finally got a new pc so am back online, so apologies for the delay getting back to you.
Thanks to you and all your team for organising a great event; it was clear that a huge amount of work was put into it.
