Can someone explain the intent of this rule
(2) The tack point shall not be set more than 25 mm forward of the
forward end of the boom spar and the clew point shall not be set
more than 25 mm aft of the aft end of the boom spar.
How would you manage to attach a sail 25mm past the end of the boom?
Is it to eliminate elaborate "fittings"?
