sail making

Post by PATARCH » 01 May 2004, 20:56

Hello,
I intend to build my sails for a one meter hull according to the "rule" dimensions.
Has anybody done is own sails and who has any prcious trick to avoid classic traps?
Thanks in advance.
I now sail with a mistral home made hull and flat sails (not for long...)

I would suggest buying a sail block from GBMY.

sail block

Hello
I guess the block has a specifoed naca shape and the process of building is to slide the sail piece along the shape to choose the depth its location.
That seems a good way to start building the sails
Thanks
