spreader positioning

Post by MARKDONOVAN » 01 Sep 2018, 06:31

Ive recently got a new mat section which requires drilling etc. Question is regards to spreader positioning on #1 rig. The rig plan which I found says spreaders 944mm down but mine are currently 1020mm. My previous mast was not prebent but this one is. Where can I find a ruling on this if any or any suggested position if not?

check with your sailmaker for directions regarding location and amount of pre-bend as well as suggested spreader position - there are no rules that specify spreader position
