Mystery IOM yacht

I have recently acquired a well built older plywood IOM yacht which I am planning to restore as a trial boat for potential new club members. Unfortunately I do not have any history for it and would like to register it. All I know is that it has a Gosport Model Boat Club sticker on the radio control tub lid, which suggests that at some time it belonged to a member there. The Gosport Club website race records show three owners of a boat with its sail number, 44, having raced between 2006 and 2011 Mike Dann,Malcolm Hearndon and Bob McManus. If any body recognises this boat or can give me any information as to its design or full boat number I would be very grateful.
