Today we heard the news that for the last couple of days the NZ sailing World has been dreading.

Murray I'm not disagreeing with you about Geoff's ability, ask any RC sailor in NZ 'who is the best?' and Geoff will be at the top of the list I was just pointing out that it has taken him 15 years to 'officially' get the "No. 1" title. Olivier Geoff designs and builds everthing on his boat, I think...

"Great to see Geoff Smale in No. 1 spot again." Interesting choice of words there - strangely enough even though Geoff would undoubtedly be the best RC sailor in NZ (as he was in full size sailing many years ago) I believe that this is the first time he has taken out the IOM Nationals in this country.

Under your scheme woudn't you still need to float the boat to check that the hull doesn't exceed the 60mm?
